From our homes to yours—we're here for you! A message from your Alumni Relations team:
Please stay connected with us and send your personal impact stories, photos, or ways that you're staying safe and active. Is there a fellow member of your alumni community whose work you'd like to spotlight?

Dear Alumni, You all should have received the notification that Alumni Weekend was canceled. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our goal in the upcoming months is to plan things to thank and celebrate our incredibly important and truly beloved reunion classes.
With the recent recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to cancel or postpone in-person events, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Alumni Weekend 2020 outright. This cancellation includes all events, despite the size, that were scheduled to take place Thursday, April 23–Saturday, April 25, 2020. If you registered to attend AW2020, we will refund your registration fees. We appreciate your patience and ask that you kindly let us know if you do not see your refund by Friday, April 3. Please remember to cancel ALL hotel and airline reservations. There is no higher priority than the health and well-being of our alumni community. We continue to partner with Northwestern University leadership and follow guidance from the CDC and medical professionals, making regular updates here to keep the Northwestern community informed with real-time information and FAQs. Please be safe and well. Thank you, Babette

Match Day for Our Future Alumni |
We all had a fantastic reason to celebrate on Friday, March 20. Though this year’s Match Day looked a little different than usual as Northwestern students learned their matches online, the one thing that didn’t change was our M4s’ excitement as they discovered where their medical career journey would take them next. Read the full story. Congratulations to these future alumni—we are so proud of you! |

During the last week of February, alumni from the MD class of 1982, (pictured left to right) Drs. Rich Davis, Jeff Lifson, John Murphy, Jim Cooke, and Bob McKlveen, along with their spouses Beth Meyer-Davis, Terri Cooke, and Ellen Jones, enjoyed a week of sailing the US Virgin Islands, Culebra, and Vieques. The five friends are a subgroup of a dozen classmates who have gathered for mini-reunions over 30 times since graduation. As Dr. McKlveen shared, “the bonds made at NUMS last a lifetime.”
