Fourth year student, Amil Dravid, advised by Professor Aggelos Katsaggelos, has been select as a finalist for the 2023 Outstanding Researcher Awards! This program recognizes undergraduate students who demonstrate exemplary potential in computing research.

 

Other nominated students include (Julian) Liam O'Carroll, Elizabeth Dudley, Sofia (Jingwei) Li.

Tech Talk Series

Wednesday, February 1st | 5-6PM | Mudd 3514 | Dilan will talk about what it's like finding a passion project and how exciting it is to be able to solve real-world problems with CS. He'll walk through his thought process and developing path when creating Paper, Northwestern's course scheduling tool, along with older, smaller projects that haven't necessarily been fully deployed.

Finding a Faculty Mentor/Lab Workshop

In both the Finding a Faculty Mentor and Finding a Lab workshops, you will learn how to search for faculty, how to identify potential research mentors, and how to communicate effectively with the mentors you identify. This workshop is appropriate for anyone considering doing any type of research, whereas Finding a Lab workshops are most appropriate for people interested in lab-based disciplines.

Midwest terminal & Datathon with Correlation One
