December 2017 Alumni News and Highlights
Issue No.11 — December 2017
Season's Video Greetings!
We hope that you enjoy this holiday greeting video from local alumni, faculty, and students. Over the past few months, volunteers from across many specialties, generations, and walks of life came together to remind us of the things that unite us this time of year. Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday season!

Good Times in Atlanta!
The Medical Alumni Association hosted some wonderful gatherings last month in Georgia and Alabama. We partnered with the NU Atlanta Alumni Club and held a pre-game reception for nearly 50 Northwestern alumni before the Northwestern vs. Georgia Tech game. It was a hard-fought game with the Wildcats losing by just one point. The following night, we hosted Birmingham-area alumni for a gathering. We had lots of fun meeting up with old friends and making new ones. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Host a Northwestern Student at Work!
Northwestern Externship Program (NEXT)
You are invited to become one of the hundreds of industry-leading alumni around the world who host a Northwestern student for a one-day job shadowing experience. The Northwestern Externship Program (NEXT) matches current Northwestern students with alumni across a variety of industries. Last year, dozens of Feinberg alumni hosted students and offered insight into their field.

If you are interest in participating, you must register your externship before January 5. The NEXT program shares the same platform as the Northwestern Network Mentoring Program (NNMP) and Help Our Students Travel (HOST), so if you have already participated in one of those programs, you can sign in using your existing account information. If you do not already have an account, you can register here.
